How is contributions
handled?

Contributions illustration

Simple, direct, and fully transparent

Cube is designed to keep money moving without ever holding it.

When a winner is selected in a Cube, contributions happen user to user, directly between members. Cube coordinates the process, but the money always moves on your terms.

Sending a contribution

Once a winner is announced, you’ll see a contribution screen showing exactly how to pay. The winner chooses their preferred payment method, either Zelle or Venmo, and that preference is clearly displayed so there’s no confusion.

You send your contribution directly to the winner using the listed method. Cube doesn’t touch the funds. There’s no wallet balance and no waiting period.

After sending the payment, you’ll upload a receipt or proof of payment inside the app. This step creates a clear record that the contribution was sent.

Confirmation and completion

Once the winner confirms they’ve received your payment, your contribution is marked as complete for that cycle.

If you’re the winner, you’ll receive contributions from other members and confirm each one as it comes in. You are not required to send a contribution during the cycle you win.

If something goes wrong

Sometimes payments take time to show up, or confirmations get delayed. If you’ve submitted proof of payment but the winner hasn’t confirmed yet, Cube doesn’t stall the system.

Cube will follow up and help resolve the issue without interrupting the rest of the Cube or delaying future cycles. The goal is to keep everything moving smoothly while protecting everyone involved.

Why Cube works this way

This structure keeps things fast, flexible, and transparent. You always know:

  • Who you’re sending money to
  • How to send it
  • When your responsibility is complete

Cube isn’t a bank. It’s a coordinator built to help groups save together without friction or hidden steps.

Clear rules. Clear records.
And contributions that move exactly where they’re supposed to.
